Looking for an assistance dog

Hello my name is Nicola John and I am a wheelchair use I have condition called Fredrcks Ataxia and I am looking for an assistance dog The only issue I am finding at the moment is that I am looking for a King Charles Cavalier spaniel, I was hopi that you would be able to point me in the right direction?

It takes 2 years and £10K to train a canine partner and not all puppies make it through training so if you are looking for a specific breed you could have a long wait.
A lot of time and effort goes into pairing the right dog with the right partner so, if I were you, I'd take the approach that you can't pick a breed or have set expectations.

There is no national body that deals with assistance dogs. There are a number of local charities, that train and provide assistance dogs.
Try googling your post code followed by "assistance dog".
There are waiting lists, for charities that I have viewed.
