Urgent housing needs

I'm looking for help with housing was put into tempory housing 2 yrs ago  and told this was the waiting time to apply for housing I applied and it's now 5 yrs I have urgent housing needs now I'm bed bound without my wheelchair the property I'm in now is a room with shower toilet I can no longer use my sticks as my leg hurts so much I have a linsfrsc fracture in my foot with servere crps and it's hard to find a doctor that will even loon at it it is just a dead limb I can not use it whatsoever I'm stuck in my bed wasting away it  is traveling to my hips now as I'm not active I can not get out my room with out help so is this my life just wasting away in my bed as every time I try to get help they just say I don't qualifie as I need to be in the area for 5 yrs I think if I stay in this room for another 3 yrs I'll prob be dead i have social sevices and care services who are great even they have pushed pushing for me to get moved but I phoned yesterday and I have now been removed i don't know what to do any more  thanks  advice plz

    Hi @stacenjay, thank you for sharing this with us.

    I'm so sorry to hear about your circumstances- CRPS is such a debilitating condition, and it sounds as though your temporary housing isn't anywhere near as accessible as it should be. 

    Unfortunately we're not housing specialists and so we cannot directly assist, however I'd advise giving our helpline team a call on 0808 800 3333, to see if they can offer any guidance. Alternatively, the charity Shelter also have a helpline that may be worth contacting, too: 0808 800 4444.
    Our helpline is open every day of the year:
    • 8am - 8pm on weekdays
    • 9am - 5pm on weekends
    You should use this line if:
    • You have nowhere to sleep, or might be homeless soon
    • You have somewhere to sleep, but nowhere to call home
    • You are/could be at risk of harm
    • You feel very overwhelmed about your housing situation

    Hi @staceynjay We do have places for people who may need help prepare things. over 55yrs with flats at £127.500 75% share of the property. With £284 a month, this covers free underfloor heating never have to pay to heat again. windows are in the price and service pack test free. Big discount with arrival community Lounge with weekly events on. Large dance floor and stage, restaurant sit in or out. IT areas free with a post office twice a week all under one roof. care if needed whenever you need an assistant just press a button. It was built 8 yrs ago with 5star restaurant for mornings and noon. Location in a quaint village with a few village shops Restaurant GPs a beautiful pool in the heart of the village with wildlife. This is rare these properties to come around for over independent over 55 with help as much or less or none available. Much much more than the village as and rock bottom prices. Nr Crewe Cheshire and Keele. With car service bus stop at the end of the road. Disabled this is a place to be for comfort and friends library, Hope this can help and more details if required and not worry about health it is here to help if needed.
