my ot put in a request for me to have a staggered path and a shower fitted. I have just had the reply back from community connections. They want nearly £3,400 . We don’t have any savings or money left at the end of the month. In totally devastated. Is there anywhere we can get help with trying to find this money ?

Hi @wallywoo2
Presumably you are talking about a Disabled Facilities Grant? Is the £3,400 what they have calculated as what you need to contribute based on their assessment of your financial means? If so have you checked the calculations are correct?
It can be difficult to get charities to give grants for the householders contribution as most charities use a similar means-test. but you could try using to grant search tool on the scope website to see if you can identify anywhere:https://www.scope.org.uk/support/disabled-people/search-grants
