Dear @JulestheBat
I'm wondering if you've ever come across this website which you may find interesting and/or helpful:
http://www.wellwise4me.com
The co-author of the website recovered from ME after 25 years so she now specialises in supporting the recovery of people with CFS/ME/Fibromyalgia...
Best wishes.

My Fibro waxes and wanes, it is worse when I have stress and during my cycle.
-
My fibro has certainly got worse since it was diagnosed three years ago. I was up most of the time, now I spend a good proportion of my week in bed.
-
Yes my fibro has got worse.

hi all im new to this iv got fibromyalgia over 2 years been in constant pain no beaks so unfair
-
@alli43 hi ? Yes it feels very unfair doesn't it, I suppose my gran used to say there's plenty worse off than you. While that is definitely true it doesn't stop us from mourning our previous lives. The heatwave we had in the summer was horrific and now I'm dreading the winter. I have had this for at least 5 years and it's hard to stay sane some days, be kind to yourself listen to your body and don't compare the person you are now with the one you were before. Keep battling. X

Definately agree with the above. Look into mindfulness or relaxation therapies as it’s really important to look after your mind too. Best wishes all.
