Looking to pass on a wheelchair/scooter lift

I am currently sorting out the affairs of deceased friend who became a wheelchair user very shortly before he passed away. Just a few weeks before he died a wheelchair/Scooter powered Lift was fitted to his SUV style car, So that he could put his scooter in the boot easily; which allowed him to get out and about. Now the lift is no longer needed so I would like to move it on to someone who can make good use of it. These lifts are very expensive at around £1200 new. Is there someone out there who could use the lift and get it at a much reduced cost?
