Treatment can be exhausting

One thing I believe the "abled" don't know about is how much energy we spend on  functioning and on having treatments. Next week on Monday I will have an MRI (at six in the morning), Botox shots on Tuesday, and an appointment with an orthopedist. The MRS is two hours away, it takes 4 hours to get to the orthopedist, plus the time spent in the appointment.

Weeks like the coming one leave me wondering which is worse - the illness or the treatments (tongue in cheek, but still....).

I wonder if this is common for many of us.
