    No, but they contact DWP to check that you qualify.
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.

    Unless you already have a claim for Child tax credits, if your area is a full Universal credit area then you won't be able to claim tax credits, it will have to be universal credit.

    Yes already have a claim for tax credits not wanting to go on UC at all ?
