Hello @Marbella Pleased to meet you welcome.
Thank you for joining and sharing.
Have a look at our on line benefit checker. It is a handy tool which gives you some idea of what you might be entitled.
You can also find out more information about benefits on our website.
Also consider speaking to CAB they have a wealth of benefit knowledge. Good with form filling in.
Benefits are complex and confusing.
Please ask if we can advise on anything. Some one will know.
Please take care.

Hi,SSP is payable for 28 weeks and you won't be able to claim ESA until this has finished because you can't claim both. You should be given your SSP1 form on the 23 week of claiming SSP, once you have this you can then put a claim in for ESA but you won't be paid it until SSP has finished. You should speak to your employer before giving your notice in, or speak to ACAS. Details for ACAS are provided in this link.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
