I have been waiting since April for my appeal date. I have kept my mobility car over the return date but it’s due to go back 7th January 2019, crazy thing I was awarded ESA for life just 12 months prior to my
pip assessment. not financially in a good place and rather worried about the outcome. Never get anywhere ringing places so guessing it’s a waiting game

A year is not unusual to wait for a tribunal hearing/ The tribunal clerk should be able to tell you the waiting time in your area

Yes you could easily be waiting several more months, I dont think I have ever had a tribunal date within a year of sending the appeal form, usually for me its been 18-24 months wait.

Im starting to realise this as a friend of my husbands has MS and she was turned down for it also and still waiting to go to appeal which I find kind of crazy just a waiting game that has to be waited out. Just wish they had an idea of what it does to peoples lives having this to deal with. Best of luck to all those waiting
