i have just been awarded a Lwcra for work and will get an extra payment in my next payment however should this be backdated? I started handing sicknotes in from May? I am aware they don’t backpay for 3 or 4 months.

I didnt fill the assessment form out till july

It should be backdated to the 4th month of your claim for LCW.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

LCW starts from when you sent in your first fit note.

They have advised me otherwise on the phone, the lady didn’t seem to know much about it and said it will be in a letter. UC advisors aren’t the best.

I sent my sicknote in May. X
