Not again win back ESA get £16.40 less becuase was tolled to go for UC. So ESA £110.75 only. That is 5 pizzers for iceland block of chees + 2 chickin kefs + £6 change. less not happy. ESA said UC should pay me the £16.40 will see if thay do.

    Hi,

No one can tell you on an internet forum if you would qualify for LCWRA under UC. Your post is a little confusing. Are you claiming ESA and UC? and is it New style ESA you're claiming?
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.

Hi I was on EESA at £127.30 per week. My clame was stoped 17th Dec 2018 I went to have that look at again and got it back but as I put back on new ESA becuas my secamstances change £16.40 was not put in as this bit was not in the re-opend ESA £110.75. On 17th Dec before Cristamas I was without money so I was toled by ESA to open a UC clam 52 min - 42min and 27 min on phon. the one song there is so....... sorry I don't use bad langege in end put it on speker so as to do more thing around the home.  Had 1st payment on the 8th Jan and it was £110.75 per week on bank statment DWP JSA payment. So I have aplide for UC + LCWRA I belive that I have both bit needed to get this, But you know DWP, I have e-mail my MP over this and hope for a good out come. will update  if and when.

I'm assuming you were found fit for work, which is why you asked them to look at the decision again (MR) you were then told to claim UC but what i don't understand is why you were able to go back onto ESA after claiming UC.

Anyway, regardless of that, as you're claiming Contributions based ESA and UC then your ESA Support Group payment of £110.75 per week will be deducted from your UC claim. You should be paid the LCWRA under UC which is £328 per month plus the standard allowance and for a single person over 25 this is £251.77 per month. You won't be paid both the ESA support Group and the LCWRA under UC at the same time. If you rent your home you'll also be paid the housing element as part of UC.

Same here, but I seam to have been, UC will close the EESA. Having 2 clam running at same time look like double the work for one clammer ie me.  I am over 25 so UC is £317.82. So the DWP JSA payment will stop.  With the UC + LCWRA will start from when I started the clam on 17th Dec 2018  £317.82 + £328.32  So 1st 4 week = £232.54 to acount for the 8th Jan 2019 payment. Then 2nd 4 week £596.44 thare after. So 1st new/new payment hopefully around 3 week's time (5th Feb 2019) I will also look into talk about free pescrision & teath care the UC seam to have. UC site is down at the moment.

It's ESA, not EESA. Any payments you've received from ESA since you started your UC claim will be deducted from your UC, because you can't receive the payment twice.

There maybe a delay paying you the LCWRA because it can take a few weeks for them to get the information from ESA that you were in the Support Group.

If you claim housing benefit then this will stop and you'll be paid the housing element through UC.

You're entitled to the free dental/prescriptions because you're claiming LCWRA. See link https://www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/help-with-health-costs/help-with-health-costs-for-people-getting-universal-credit/

New question from UC that I have difficlty with, please help
"You had gaps in employment over the last year before your went for UC". This is a Q that I can'not say yes or no to. ie YES I had gaps in my employment or NO I did not have any gaps in my employment. Was I employed by ESA in 2015 - 2018? Can a gap in employment be one year long. As the ans of no work over that year is not one of the ans I could put down. The next big box with "is this true" then showes up with Law implicasions + Sancsions added if giving wong ans. Will UC want true info? Not happy with 2 ons, very nebluas. Ans needed before 31st Jan 2019

If you were claiming ESA then you weren't employed by ESA because receiving benefits isn't income that you earn.

The answer is yes, you've had gaps and you should put down the truth.
