I have complained to Capita regarding the report the assessor carried out.  It was full of blatent lies.  Capita have stated that the assessor cannot recall the assessment and have refused  to do anything else about it. I went back to DFC and they are taking the assessors  report as true.  They say there is no independent evidence available to them.  What do I have to do now.  How can I convince them that she has told lies.

    Hi,

Unfortunately there's nothing else you can do regarding the report. Lots of people complain about the untruths told in reports from assessments but they rarely do anything about it.

If you've been refused a benefit then your only option is to appeal the decision by first asking for the Mandatory reconsideration the Tribunal if that fails.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

I have done that and waiting for a date for a tribunal.  Its good to know other people are complaining as I felt guilty.  Now I am just angry and frustrated, I will keep going until i get a result.  Thanks
