It would seem I will never draw my state pension under UC rules ,my partner is 20 year younger than me so I will be at least 86 when he is eligible , and i will probably be dead, does this only apply to pension credit or does it also apply to the basic payment

    Hi,

State pension is from your NI contributions and isn't means tested so that won't be affected.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
