Hi all
I'm new to universal Credit and have recently received a Health assessment form, with lots and lots of questions to answer, some very personal.
I have found it quite daunting so I have made an appointment with a benefits advisor at my local council office who will help me fill out the form.
ImI just worrying about what will happen next, I'm aware there will be a face to face assessment, does anyone know if it's like the PIP interview or is it worse.

    Hi,

    Yes, the work capability assessment is even worse than the PIP2 form.

    The assessment is very similar but PIP and UC work capability assessment have different criteria to which they assess you on. This assessment is about the work you can do, rather than the work you can't do and you'll be assessed on your ability to do any type of work.

    When returning that form you need to make sure you send relevant evidence with it to support your claim. They rarely contact anyone for this. It also needs to be received by them no later than the date in the letter. There's no extension of time to return those forms. Good luck.
