Hi , your CA affects UC two ways. 1st they take it into account £ for £. But they give you a premium whether or not you receive CA if the person you care for received PIP or DLA. Hope that helps?

Hi @mouriry Claiming UC should not stop your Carers Allowance so there should be no need to reclaim it or try to stop your UC.  As is said above, your UC will be reduced by the amount of your Carers Allowance as it counts in full as an income for UC, but the UC will also include an additional £156.45 per month due to you being a carer so it should all be fine!
