                          drawing of a house complex

I recently went back to one of my favourite things to do as a child, which was drawing. Now, I am no Picasso but following each line as I sketched out buildings that I saw online, brought a sense of calmness and comfort.

I brushed the idea of drawing to the side, for a long time. I always joked that I would be surprised if I could draw a stick man. But to my surprise, when I had a really rough day, I drew a picture of a colourful living room based in New York. I put my headphones on and began to draw. I felt like the younger me, with no expectation and allowed my hand and pencil to lead the way.

Hopefully I will be able to recreate the picture above, so please do not laugh if it ends up looking like a loaf of bread instead. :)
