Resonable adjustments

Hi I have recently asked for resonable adjustments but have heard nothing. I underwent a disciplinary and was move to a different area I have AS anxiety and depression. I contacted the EASS and was advised to send one of their resonable adjustment template letters, I sent this about 6 weeks ago, I attended an appeal last week and they tried to say they had only just received the EASS letter the day before, this isn't true as I sent it recorded delivery and know the exact date they received it, 3 days after it was sent. I have had to sign myself off again because technically I don't have an appropriate job to go to but now they have triggered me for sickness, my mental health is deteriorating but mainly because I have no structure to my day and need to get back to work. Any suggestions? Also the union are involved and I've self referred to 'Access to work', I'm sure what they are doing is unlawful I am also on half pay, its so frustrating.

    Im sorry are you having a laugh? I asked a question about resonable adjustments, and your telling me to call the samaritans? Any advice on the actual question I asked?

    I apologise for the complete misunderstanding. Has your union raised the issue of you sending the Reasonable Adjustment letter 6 weeks ago? Was your request for Reasonable Adjust refused via the appeal last week?

    Thanks for your post and we are sorry to hear about your experience with your current employer.

    when a workplace feature or practice puts a worker with a disability at disadvantage, the employer employer has a duty under the Equality Act 2010 to see what reasonable adjustments can be made, once they have become aware of your disability and as a result of your disability you are having difficulty with any part of your job. 

    If your employer is failing to make reasonable adjustments it can be considered as disability discrimination. If the adjustments requested are 'reasonable', the employer must make them to ensure that the workplace does not disadvantage a disabled employee. 

    If you feel you have been discriminated against you would be able to bring a claim of disability discrimination to an employment tribunal- the best option is to talk to your employer to resolve this issue informally, but if you feel you have exhausted this option then this is something to consider. you can find more information HERE.

    If you would like support with this, speak to the EASS as you have done previously or you can get in contact with ACAS- who provide a information and advice to employees to help prevent workplace problems- on 0300 123 1100.

    Looking forward, if you would like some support with finding a new role, Scope provide a free employment support service called  Support to Work which is digital service which provides tailored support and advice to disabled people who are seeking employment. The support that the service provides ranges from support with finding and applying for suitable roles to guidance on how to request reasonable adjustments in interviews as well as when you are offered/ start employment.     Thanks both, I have the union involved and they are referring my case to their legal team, I work for a big organisation and I think they think they are above the law. I am now on half pay and getting letters inviting me to a sickness meeting, if they had made adjustments as soon as there was a problem I wouldn't have been off sick for the last 3 month, and I'm only off sick because I wouldn't have got paid at all for not going to work in an environment that quite frankly makes me feel ill, as far as |I'm concerned they are trying to make me go back to a job which doesn't exist. I have also requested input from access to work and am presently waiting  feedback.
