You'd have to see if you can match the problems you have day to day with what is said in the pip form.
Read the pip form 1st. -
Hi,PIP isn't awarded based on a diagnosis, it's how those conditions affect your ability to carry out daily activities based on the PIP descriptors. https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/Global/Migrated_Documents/adviceguide/pip-9-table-of-activities-descriptors-and-points.pdfIf you decide to claim then you'll need evidence to support it. The evidence should state how your conditions affect you and not just a diagnosis. Expect a face to face assessment as most people have them, it's rare to have a paper based assessment.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
Hi to get pip you have to be suffering severely and be in great pain on a daily basis. If it only affects you occasionally and mildly there will be no chance of getting it. You would also need a proper diagnosis from a specialist, such as a rheumatologist and a plan of treatment.
Hope this helps.
