HI everyone,I had a major cancer operation 19 months ago which went well but the next day I had a DVT in my leg which didn't heal correctly and left me with very poor mobility. The problem is I used to be active and love life but that has all been taken away from me.I feel so useless now.Any ideas on what can help me?

Hi @cab welcome to the community! Sorry to hear this, do you have any mobility aids which help you?

    Hi @cab and welcome

It is not your fault, don't blame yourself. For me the key was to accept and adapt. Accept the things you cannot change, change the things you cannot accept.

I used to be very active often working a 16 hour day, repairing cars, building work, HGV driving and plumbing, to name a few. Now on a good day I can move a barrow of sand an hour. Look at the things you like to do and find a way to adapt to your limitations

Be all you can be, make  every day count. Namaste
