Hi
my son has used his direct payments to pay for his carers who have zero hour contracts. He now has a PA who works about 30 hours a week and is asking about holiday pay and sick pay etc. She obviously needs a different contact to zero hours. How do we go about this, what is she entitled to? Ant advice greatly received as we haven’t a clue

I am no expert on this but believe that it is best to have a PA who is self-employed as that takes most of the load off the client and his/her family.
