In 2019, we want to celebrate our wonderful Community Champions and so each month, we will be giving one of our champions the new Community Champion of the Month badge.
Community Champions are our team of volunteers who are the friendly, welcoming face of our community, they work with us to make our community a safe, supportive space for us all. They give up their time freely to support us all and we are so honoured to have them all on board.
This month, we would like to give a very special thank you and the February Community Champion of the Month @Ami2301
Ami joined the team last year and then had a difficult time with her health, we were so grateful for her coming back to us during her recovery and she has offered so much care and support to our members in the past few months. Ami always has a warm welcome for new members and makes the community a kinder and happier place. Thank you Ami!!!
Every one of our champions is so special to us and I know how special they are to all our community members too, so I hope you join us in congratulating them each month this year.

Hello @Ami2301 Congratulations and justly deserved to a very special friend in my life.
Told you be next.
Please can I thank you for being a friend. Giving me messages of friendship and warmth every day.
So glad we met.
Thank you for supporting me on my many posts but more important supporting others who need a helping hand. Some guidance, also much sensitivity and words of comfort.
For those community members struggling and striving.
Long may it continue. Always learning from you and always following you.
Your friend the one and only.

Thank you so much @Deb_Scope! How was Naidex?Disability Gamechanger - 2019

@Ami2301 it was really good, my legs ache from standing and my voice was a bit sore afterwards as I spoke to so many wonderful people. The best thing was the atmosphere it was just so relaxed, friendly and above all inclusive. I saw a few people post on social media how nice it was to be in a place where there was not a negative vibe anywhere.
I laughed, listened and of course chatted, I do like a chat and of course encouraged everyone I spoke to join us on here, so I hope we will get some new members and we can continue to chat online. I hope you get an opportunity to go next year.Debbie
