hello. I'm Antonia. I recently applied for universal credit. I don't really understand the changes of it as I'm disabled and my dad get carers for me. how will my benefits as such as carers be affected?

    HI,

Your dad claiming carers allowance won't affect your UC payments.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Hi @ahope3112, welcome to the community! It's lovely to have you with us.
As Poppy says, your dad receiving carers allowance shouldn't affect your Universal Credit payments.
If you have any queries about anything else or any other element of your Universal Credit claim, please don't hesitate to ask! :)
