Hi my name is Eleanor and new to the site.  I have CRPS and a few other ailments due to the pain.  I've found the information on this site very helpful, so thank you for that.

Thank you.  I had 1 question about pip, thanks to this site I knew to ask for the assessors report, which I received yesterday, there are a few things I didn't agree with what she wrote but scored 10 points in both so I should get standard rate, is it still possible for the decision maker to change this? (I'm assuming any changes would be against me) and one last thing she recommended they don't revise it for 18 months, I know from reading on here they get in touch 12 months before you are due to be revised would that mean I will have to go through it all again in 6 months? Thank you for any help with this.

    Hi Eleanor

Mostly the DM will go with the report, but they can also up the points as well as take some away.

With an HCP recommending 18 months the DM will usually take this into account and award either a 2 or 3 year award

When you get the decision letter it will tell you when to expect a review
