I'm new to the forum and quite shy, though am currently struggling with lots of pressure on me as a carer for both my mum who has Alzheimer's and my two children, eldest of which has mental health problems and I have several disabilities of my own to deal with. Sorry for the moaning as soon as I arrive.
Hope that everyone is having a decent day, with love x

Hi @Flowergirl welcome to the community How are you doing today?
I understand, being a carer comes with a lot of pressure. But you may be able to receive some support from your local carers centre. We also have a parents and carers discussions and a mental health discussions group you can join. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Hi @Flowergirl
A very warm welcome.
Sorry to learn you are struggling with your caring for your mum and children.
Have you had a carer’s assessment?
You are legally entitled, speak to your local social services.
Does your mum get any care or direct payments?
As @Antonia_Scope has suggested contact your local carer’s centre, they will be helpful and assist you.
Keep us informed. -
