Hi @1961hoppy and a warm welcome to the community! I'm sorry the assessment was an overwhelming, you are not alone in feeling this way. Here is what the Scope website says about the levels of PIP:
PIP has a daily living and a mobility component. Depending on the number of points you’re awarded for your responses to questions, you’ll receive either the standard or the enhanced rate for each of the components.
I hope this helps and I wish you the very best of luck with your claim!

    Hi @1961hoppy and welcome

You should ask for a copy of the assessment report, this will show you the recommendations that the HCP has made
Be all you can be, make  every day count. Namaste

Not sure what you are asking. If you've been recommend for the enhanced and that's what you receive, where's the problem ?
If you fight, you won't always win. But if you don't fight you will always always lose.

Got it, I don't know anyone who has had this. Just an assumption on my part, my be the assessor didn't give a rats rectum and just went through the motions for you. Best of luck no matter what happens ;) .

    Hi,

The HCP should not have said anything to you because it's not what they're supposed to do. As CR has advised, requesting a copy of the assessment report will tell you if there's any recommends of an award. Good luck.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
