Hello @Weirdworld so long as you have a tenancy agreement which you can bring along to the meeting, it shouldn’t be a problem.Community Manager

Hi,Your other post says you've claimed SDP in with your ESA. If this is correct, then you won't be able to claim UC. You can claim housing benefit for your rent, even if you've moved to a different local council.I'm very surprised you were even able to start a claim for UC. See link. http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2019/10/made
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
Thanks @poppy123456, I hadn't spotted the other thread.
@Weirdworld, because you're in receipt of SDP, they should flag this and cancel your UC claim. Poppy is correct in that you need to apply for Housing Benefit from your local council. You could give the SDP helpline a call on 0800 181 4049 (0800 012 1331 if you're in NI) and they'll be able to advise you about what your next steps should be.Community Manager
