Hi everyone am new to here just would like some help and info. Aye have just been to 2 pip assessments due to a change of circumstances after a bleed in the brain left me with sight loss at both they did not tell the truth with anything . They even said a walked in unaided even though I have a long vain now to help me get about it is terrible how they treat people i also gave them my cvi certificate and everything else they needed to photo copy.  But for some reason they don't have that now since a phoned .Am also suffering from mental health really bad and they told me on phone not to bring any letter for appointments from specialist am seeing as they don't need them. So cut to the chase they stopped my pip award a was on high daily now nothing . Am getting help now from RNIB but would like some info on help with these people who lie and what to do about them . Thankyou

    Hi @BIGSCOTT
       I think your next step is to do a Mandatory Reconsideration. Do you have an Advocate at the R.N.I.B. If so you could ask them to help you with this. I’m sure they will have done this before.Call the DWP and make a request but make sure you have all the relevant info to hand.They will look at it again and tell you what your next step is.

    I'm very sorry to hear your PIP assessment report was not accurate. What sort of help are R.N.I.B offering you with this?
    As @debsidoo mentioned, your next step would be a mandatory reconsideration, however it's important to note that the majority of decisions remain the same at this stage so you might need to prepare for tribunal.
