In may I lost my pip award and therefore lost my sdp on esa in may. Last week I was awarded standard for both daily living and mobility after a mandatory reconsideration. I got a text asking to call the dwp regarding the reinstatement of my sdp which I did. I was asked a few questions over the phone for the application. Does anyone know how long it will take and will I be paid a backdated amount from when my sdp stopped in may? Thanks

Hi,A claim will take a few weeks at the most but you could receive money before that. Money will be backdated to the date your SDP stopped providing all the other criteria applied at that time.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
