Last evening I was in bed and about to eat my tea when I got a phonecall. It was Kelly, the assessor due to come to my home for my f2f tomorrow. She was ringing to confirm....all good.
3 minutes later, she rang again..to cancel!!!!! Eh????
She`d had a message calling her to Sheffield and to cancel me.
I was upset of course. I rang the DWP today...to cut a long story short, because I am that stressed....they are coming on 24th sept now...another 3 agonising weeks to wait......arrgghh

Hi,Unfortunately these things happen and they can't be helped. I know it's very stressful but at least they rang you before the day of assessment. I've known people's assessments being canceled at the last minute.Hopefully the next one will go ahead as planned.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Thankyou. Yes it would be worse if she hadnt arrived. The post from someone who travelled a long way and paid out £100 for taxis is horrendous!

Not the best news! But at least it wasn't when they were due to turn up I suppose.
Hope it's not too painful a wait for you in the meantime @pollyanna1052Community Manager
