IR ESA appears differently with bank

Hi!
Not sure where to ask this.
I've been on Income Related ESA for 2 1/2 years and it has always appeared exactly the same on my bank statement...
"BANK GIRO CREDIT REF (NI Number) DWP ESA (then long digit that I assume is a payment reference)"
However, I've received a payment today (the amount is what I expected) but it's labelled...
"DWP GB FP LP FUNDI FASTER PAYMENTS RECEIPT REF (NI Number) DWP JSA FROM DWP GB LP FUNDI"
Any ideas what that's about? The only thing I can think that's changed is I now get PIP after winning tribunal. My backpay went in last week and says Bank Giro as above but PIP instead of ESA.

Ah, just realised it seems to have gone in early - it went in yesterday (Monday) rather than today (Tuesday) as normal.
Would that be why? -
Hi,When it has JSA next to the payment amount it means that it was manually paid. I have no idea why you received your money early, for this you'll need to ring and ask.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Interesting. My payment was correct so I don't think I need to call.
Just a bit curious really. -
It happens sometimes, if the payment was manually paid. FP is fastpayment, so that tells me it was definitely manually paid.

Thank you! I'll call if the next one is the same and find out.

No problem. It will most likely be as normal next time. I know it's happened to me sometimes. The PIP decision being put into payment most likely caused your ESA to suspend, which happens everytime. Someone then noticed that this and manual processed your payment.
