In 2019, we want to celebrate our wonderful Community Champions and so each month, we will be giving one of our champions the new Community Champion of the Month badge.
Community Champions are our team of volunteers who are the friendly, welcoming face of our community, they work with us to make our community a safe, supportive space for us all. They give up their time freely to support us all and we are so honoured to have them all on board.
This month, we would like to give a very special thank you to the September Community Champion of the month @Connie00
@Connie00 has been a champion with us since May this year and been such a huge support to the community, especially in welcoming new members. We can't impress just how important it is to have a team of volunteers who create such a warm and friendly welcome to newcomers. So thank you Connie for your time and kindness this month, and every month.
Every one of our champions is so special to us and I know how special they are to all our community members too, so I hope you join us in congratulating them each month this year.

I have many challenges like you all do, I love to come on here not only to socialize I also love to chat and problem solve, I love to meet new members, I find it takes a lot to join a group that you don't know much about. You are putting you vulnerability out for the whole community to see.
I really like to put people at ease. just doing a job. however never did I imagine that I would be awarded the Community Champion of the Month, I am sure I don't deserve it. but I am so pleased that I have been thought of is this way, so thank you very much, and thank you for all your lovely comments.
