Chronic Fatigue/Night Spasms

So the past few days I have been feeling really spaced out like I am drunk/hungover and not quite with it. The other night I went to bed early slept for 8 hours and woke up feeling even worse like I hadn't even slept. My eyes were so heavy all day I could hardly keep them open and one eye was twitching like it was tired all day, also my voice seems to have gone like I had a sore throat and my stomach seems hard/bloated. Last night I went to bed early again and this morning I woke up still feeling the same although slightly better. Also I seem to be waking up in the morning with random aches, all down my forearms are very stiff most mornings (this is a new thing) and I have the odd twinge in my back and stomach, also I wake up in the night sweating a lot.

I used to get the odd random day like this especially in the evening which I just put down to been tired but it's happening more often and seems to be lasting longer.

Does anyone else have anything similar, is this fatigue/spasms or am I just going mad!

I'm trying a different GP tomorrow as I also have some serious pain in my feet/lower legs so will see what they say but probably not much.

    Hi @Phil82
I occasionally have spasms at night, thankfully not that often.
I think it is vitally important that you consult your G.P. and have them investigate the symptoms that you have mentioned in your post. To rule out any other potential health issues.

I get night spasms from time to time but normally as result of being on my feet for too long or through drinking too much coffee or alcohol. You would have thought standing and stretching muscles would be good, but the spasm seem to be my muscles returning to their unstretched state. Just another random thing that I find with CP. That said the night spasm can keep me awake and are really frustrating.

I'm better thanks I seem to have perked up the past couple of days I think I had a bit of an ear infection which was causing it. It's never affected me that much though I used to get infections all the time from doing a lot swimming and it's never caused me any issues but the past week has knocked the stuffing out of me it's like it set my nervous system on overdrive.

The GP also sent me for some X-rays on my feet and ankles (they still aren't great) I will get the results next week also tomorrow I get the delight of having a second EMG no doubt it will be all clear again.

My GP was actually really helpfull so we might finally be making some progress if I have finally found a good one.

Remember this, well my life seems to be getting stranger by the day at the moment!!

I went back to my Osteopath today to write me a report on my strange biomechanics to take to the neurologist this week. He runs through a load of tests and then declares I am deaf in one ear!!!

errr ok interesting I say because I have always had trouble with that ear and I had an ear infection a few weeks ago that knocked the stufffing out of me. He even wondered if I had some weirdness in my ears like perpherated ear drum that could lead to an infection getting in and casuing all my symptoms (I think he was stretcthing his imagination a bit here).

Anyway he sends me off to an audiologist who cleans my ears out, oh my word there a lifetime of gunk in there but no other weirdness. However that probaly explains the reason for feeling rubbish a few weeks back that ear was so blocked up it prob has been causing me a few issues and making everything seems worse. Maybe like a secondary issue that could have caused a flair up of some type.

I do wonder if there is some weakness there as I have had problems for years and my little lad often complains of water been stuck in his ear.

The Osteopath also stuck some accupuncture needles in my feet and my walking seems to have improved dramatically this afternoon, annoyingly though I will prob now look ok when I see the neurologist on Thursday.

What a random lunch hour that was!
