So i live above this weird man who coughs all day. Not only that my guinea pig is ill now and i adore them. I only have my dad as the only decent, reliable person in my life and my partner works away as i could not live with him all the time as he annoys me so much - too much cooking constantly etc-I need a whole new life it seems like a lot of days

Hello @kami24.
Can you move away or not? Do you own your flat? I recommend contacting Shelter (number is 08088004444) for advice and support. I’m sorry you are having this issue. -
Hi @kami24
I have lived in flats before and neighbours can get on your nerves. I'm really sorry to read about your guinea pig, have you contacted the PDSA to take a look at them?

Hello @kami24 Sorry to hear you having some problems.
Please can I suggest make some goals and plans. Nothing too large. Do spend some time thinking what would like to do.
Create a list of your skills and abilities your talents. Put on any other skills or abilities. You mentioned cooking.
Lots of charities have kitchens. Always wanting kitchen staff to make lunches.
For their members or those who visit as a member of the public.
Moving is an option and I would have a look on line. See what organisations, Housing Associations there are in your area.
Look on this one. This is my Housing Association.

Hope that helps. Please get in touch if I can help with anything further.
Please take care.

Hi Kami24
I've lived in flats with poor sound insulation in the past and the noise from other flats can be torture esp if you are unwell or unable to go out and escape the noise. It doesn't have to be extreme noise like parties or DIY just everyday living like caughing or them flushing the loo. It can be really upsetting and intrusive. I really don't think that much consideration is given to noise transfer and nuisance when properties are being built or converted.
I'm sorry to hear that your beloved pet is poorly, it's part and parcel of the pleasure of being a pet guardian to know that they might become unwell. I hope he/"is better soon and your outlook will become more positive too. Do you have any hobbies or things you have always wanted to do but never had the motivation? Perhaps this is the time to give it a try? There are loads of free online courses you could try if you know what you want to do.
I really do hope things get better for you soon. Keep your chin up. -
Also check YouTube if tv is crappy. I hardly watch TV now and have learnt so much from you tube documentaries.
Having said that my favourite TV show is on at 9.i haven't missed an episode of the walking dead in 10yrs. Have you seen it? -
I look on YouTube but it's not necessarily true stuff on there. Ive been to uni and lots of jobs and experience but i hate sci fi and not interested in walking dead sorry only simpsons. Watching about bloody maple syrup at this moment!! Ch. 4 shoot me now lol
