Hi,
whether he’s owed any backdated money will depend on circumstances during that time. Not everyone is owed money, some are and some aren’t. Unfortunately you will need to wait for DWP to assess him and once they have they will send a decision letter. Decision waiting times are between 12-20 weeks.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
Hi,
I answered your other thread but then realised that you claimed Income support and carers allowance during that time. This means that it’s very unlikely he will be owed any backdated money but he will still need to wait for a decision to be made, which can take 12-20 weeks .I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
