Hi all
I called DVLA to ask if my dad can claim a discount on his car tax as my mum has attendance allowance and a blue badge. They said to call the DWP. You know how frustrating it can be to attempt to get through! Does anyone know please?

The answer is no (Ive just looked it up) I assume because AA doesn't have a mobility component.2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡

Hi @Jaanu38, unfortunately not, here is the eligibility:You can apply for exemption from paying vehicle tax if you get the:You also can get 50% off if you get PIP standard rate mobility. I hope this helps/

- War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement
- Armed Forces Independence Payment
