Going out I try not to eat- as it makes my digestive issues bad if unexpected food on offer.
Got invited out for lunch at no cost to myself, which is awkward as refusing someone’s hospitality generally causes offence.
Imagine my horror as the others ordered big greasy fry ups, fried bread and mugs of tea, my face must have been a picture as I got asked if I wanted vegan/vegetarian or light bites.
Settled on a jacket potato and mug of tea.
