Surprise letter..... part 2

Hello everyone,

I thought i should post again regarding the surprise letter because i did start the other thread some weeks ago. Well. the postman arrived today with a letter from Scope telling me i had won the award for empowering others. This award is given for supporting and empowering disabled people and their families for the benefit advice i have given to members which has helped them progress their claims more confidently.

I have no idea what happens next but it says my volunteer manager will arrange a time to present me with the award very soon.

-cough- i honestly wasn't expecting to win this award because there's other Community Champions here too and we all deserve awards. I love advising others and spending my time helping as many people as possible, despite the difficult times i'm experiencing in my life right now.

I know there must be others that have received an award, infact i know of at least one person... you know who you are my dearest friend, are you going to reveal yourself?

Thank you scope and all the admins for this, it really does mean so much! Of course i'll continue to advise others, the best way i can. Smiling from ear to ear and you really have made my weekend!

Just to add another, i also know someone else that had an award today.. My dear friend @thespiceman isn't that correct?

All of the Community Champions deserve awards, it's not just about me, i have made some truly wonderful friends since i've been here and i want all of you to share any award you had!I if you don't mind, please.

Hello every one sorry for the delay in replying.  Just a Saturday of working out and physical activity.

Watching the Spanish and Italian Football on Free Sports all that running around those lads ole my son on the head . Mamma mia  .

Bound to get fit lose a few pounds.  lol.

In between household duties.  Sweep, clean and the marigolds, lol.

The Strictly on had my sparkles my glitter balls dusted down and my dancing shoes. In my dreams of course lol.

Please can I offer my congratulations to my wonderful friends who have been given an award.

I also want to thank you for supporting me always following you every day.

You do amazing stirring work and I am so proud of you as my friends .

Engaging Communities award.  I am very honoured , humbled and my thoughts are to those of us the community and the team.

I like to thank the Academy as I should, never been nominated for anything. Been embarrassed and same time a feeling of appreciation and emotion. Can not be me must be others .
