Pips reinstated how do i reclaim my carers allowence

Hello so my partners pips got stopped because of postal error after pips finally found our paper work her pips was reinstated but my carars allowence was stopped and no ive gone 5 weeks without it. Does anyone know who i have to call or contact? Any help would be amazing.

    HI and welcome,

    You will need to contact Carers Allowance but you'll most likely have to make another claim and the quickest way to this in online.

    As your Carers Allowance stopped previously then if it's classed as a new claim then it could take 8-12 weeks for payments to re-start.
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
