Just joined - I have Crohn’s disease and inflammatory joint disease. I have had Crohns since I was 12 years old and have been in and out of hospital for more than 30 years. The inflammation in my joints is a result of my Crohns and started 3 years ago. Luckily I’m in remission now and lead as active a life as I can but I’m immunosuppressed due to the medication I’m on and I have toilet urgency which can lead to embarrassing accidents.

Hi @gdocmacoo - Welcome to this supportive & friendly community, & thank you for joining us all. There are others who have posted that have Crohn's; it sounds a sadly debilitating disorder, but pleased to read you're in remission just now.Thank you for sharing & you'll find others will come to welcome you too; people here share & care for each other, so it's a great place to chat. I have osteoarthrosis in most of my joints due to a genetic disorder (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome).

Aww thanks! Looking forward to hearing about everyone’s experiences. It’s good to feel supported - sometimes you can feel like the only one - especially when your disability is invisible.
