Hi. I'm the parent of a young person with a learning disability and a researcher.

I'm exploring the potential of PA support to help people to find a way to work.

Do you do this? Do you know anyone doing this?

Here's some information and a 5 minute video - https://findingawaytowork.info/home/

    Hi @AbigailatSoton,

I haven't actually heard of any of our members using a workplace PA, but it doesn't mean there isn't someone out there who does. I'm going to move this to our events, research and opportunities board, where it might get seen by more people.

    Thanks @AbigailatSoton
I've added alt-text to the flyer to make it more accessible for our members who use screenreaders and have copied the text below too.

Finding a way to work ...
Young people with learning disabilities learning at work
How can young people with learning disabilities build a successful adult life without an occupation? I am seeking young people to collaborate in research about work and learning.
    Do you know
a young person with a learning disability
a young person working at something that fits paid or unpaid
a young person working with a personal assistant
I'd like to video them at work and ask them to think about themselves, what they do and what they learn, using the video to support their thinking and communication.

Why not contact some care providers? Often time they have a scheme to help those with learning difficulties find employment.
