Hi everyone so my pip was due to go in Jan 28th but it hasn’t gone in. I’m wondering if because of Christmas and new year things have got muddled up. My pip was due jan 2nd but got it December 31st instead I’m panicking and wondering if I should contact DWP or not.

Hi my pip was due to go on jan 28th and hasn’t gone in. I was wondering if it’s because of the Christmas period as my pip was originally due jan 2nd but got it 31st December.

I would call them in the morning :) . Christmas & New year shouldn't have muddled any payments.

Have you maybe had an assessment recently?

Hello, have you contacted DWP to enquire the delay, remember PIP is paid four weeks in arrears so your next payment will, should be in your account shortly.

    HI,

Your January payment was received early because that day was a holiday in Scotland. Your next payment, will then be paid on your usual payment date and you count from when you should have received payment on 2nd January and not from 31st December when you received it.

This means your next payment is tomorrow.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
