Hi @AdvocateAnthony and welcome to the Community.  It is great to have you on board and so nice to hear that you wish to help other people with disabilities too.  I'm sure you will make a great contribution to the forum and I look forward to seeing you on here.  There are some members of the Community who have Cerebral Palsy too and there are a lot of discussions on the forum which you may find interesting and wish to join in so please have a look around the site.  With regards to attending any groups/activities yourself I am including the Cerebral Palsy organisation's website who may be able to provide further information for you - https://www.cerebralpalsy.org.uk/

Also your local library, community centre or even GP surgery may have a list of local groups/clubs to attend if you can contact them.

I hope you enjoy your time with us and thank you for offering your help and support.  If there is anything we can help/support you with then please just ask.  All the best.

I am very good at helping people with severe speech impediment if somebody can not understand what is being said or asked of them I can support them with this. I live in a home with other people with cereal palsy and each day I help all of them with things they struggle to do on their own and it makes them happy and feel safe. My main passion is to help people who can’t speak for themselves. If you can not speak or express your feelings it is upsetting and frustrating and makes the world feel like it’s a difficult place I’ve been in that situation many times. This is what I’ve wanted to do all my life. I have trouble getting things out quick and some people make me feel like I am not being heard because they guess for me from impatience and end up getting the wrong support so I know personally how it feels. I’ve seen it all my life since I was a boy at school. If you let me I will be your voice
