HI and welcome,In most cases there's a 3 full month assessment period waiting time. Then the LCWRA is paid on the 4th month of your claim from when you sent evidence of your condition (fit note). If your claim for UC started at the same you handed in the fit note then you will receive the extra LCWRA element in your April payment. Unless you transferred from ESA and you were already in the Support Group and then it's paid from the start of your claim. Or you have a terminal illness with a diagnosis of 6 months or less and then the DS1500 form will need to used which needs to be filled in by a Doctor.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
