Hi @woody23 how are you getting on? Did you manage to get anywhere with a delivery slot?

Not yet

Hi @woody23, if you contact your local authority they might be able to match you with a volunteer who could assist with shopping. Please do let us know how you get on.
Some local organisations or groups are co-ordinating volunteers to get food and other essentials for people who are unable to go to supermarkets.
Find a local group (Covid mutual aid)
Your local authority or council should have information on coronavirus and community support on their website.

Are you able to leave the house at all? I'm also agoraphobic but not completely housebound (yet, at least!) and have been shopping in store this morning after not being able to find online delivery slots. It's very weird with all the new distancing measures in place but actually there weren't many people in store and it felt quite calm even compared to normal. Just thinking if you really can't get any help you might be able to try a store visit.

Hi @woody23. I don't know what supermarkets you have around you, but it's worth checking back regularly.
Iceland seem to release slots throughout the day. For example, yesterday there were none available for the whole week, and today there are slots available for tomorrow. It's been a common theme the last week.
I'm aware it's not possible for everyone, but if you're a night owl Tesco and ASDA release slots at midnight. ASDA are booking 2 weeks ahead and Tesco are booking 3 weeks ahead. I know it doesn't solve any problems immediately but it might be worth trying to book for the long-term.
Morrisons also have 'food boxes' that have higher availability. They have set contents and can't be customised (other than by meat or vegetarian options) but if you're not fussy it's worth a look as they contain most of the basics.
Lots of local greengrocers and butchers are now offering delivery options which may be an option too.
