    Hi Kev,
i'm Paul and i'm 48 and a carer to my wife who have severe epilepsy here in Derby. I've replied to your pip post, if there's anything I can help with just let us know. We've been on the long epilepsy treatment journey, my wife Lisa has tried most treatments and been to specialist hospitals in London, Buckinghamshire, Sheffield and now Liverpool, sadly Lisa's epilepsy is refractory and we see Complex Partials, Atonics and absences although occasionally the odd Tonic Clonic. Lisa's seizures do cluster at times with one following another in quick succession similar to what you've experienced I guess. Lisa had the condition since the age of 7 and it started for no known reason but unfortunately it's continued to progress, anyway nice to see you on here.

    Paul
