Over the past 15 years I’ve been working at a fast food restaurant and it hasn’t been too bad but over the last 4 years I’ve nearly been fired twice being overlooked consistently on promotion not having someone sit me down and say right you’ve been here for x amount of years let’s get you sorted absolutely no support what so ever I do have one main interest/expertise and that’s to become a pc servicing and technician problem is it’s very hard to get into anywhere unless you have really good credentials which I don’t have but I have over 20 years experience and have repaired countless pc/laptops people have even said to me that I should think about starting my own business but agin I would have no idea on where to start with that any advice would be most welcomed
many thanks

Hi @Rocky36 and welcome to the community! If you haven't already, then there is information on trying self-employment, along with some websites/organisations that provide grants for starting up a new business. Hope this helpsDisability Gamechanger - 2019

Hi again @Rocky36 - I've replied on your first post that Scope may be able to help. Please see: https://community.scope.org.uk/discussion/71659/hi-my-name-is-rocky36#latest perhaps giving this a try.I often wondered why my son didn't do the same as he's good with computers.....builds his own; sorts mine out....he can sort out hardware problems, etc.Whilst it must be difficult to be self-employed right now, people need their computers more than ever. Having been self-employed, then our son having taken over the business (between us we had nearly 25 years running a secondhand book shop), there are some organisations that may help, as well as Scope. The Federation of Small Businesses: https://www.fsb.org.uk/ & my son found the following helpful: https://smallbusinessbritain.uk/Then, as I'm sure you know, look into facebook for your local community, & advertise with Google:It was different for us, as we had a physical shop, but I hope some of the above has given you some ideas to explore.
