Face coverings

Just wondering whether other people are having problems wearing masks or face coverings? I have tried a couple recently, in both cases I struggle to get them on and then struggled to keep them on (I have cerebral palsy).

I don't visit shops that much so currently it's not a huge issue.

I'm deaf so not a fan of them.

The bicycle one are much easier to use and are reusable with filter vents they are on amazon from 6.99 I think. Theres also the ski mask version and others that you dont need to tie.

The new reports on the use of a mask vary. They is very good pist on here where about the of use of masks

Have you tried the ones designed for cycling? They are designed with minimal discomfort and need to keep messing about with. I do know some designs have been unpopular with non-disabled people, especially around the nose.

There are exceptions. Those with asthma and respiratory problems where wearing a mask or covering would exacerbate the problems. Also, disabled people where wearing masks or covering would exacerbate their issues.

Face masks/covering and coverings will not protect people from Covid-19, but will help to reduce those who have it from spreading it. So as much as possible it is essential to still keep social distancing and washing your hands.

Thanks for tagging me @Geoark, and it's good to meet you @wheels496. I haven't worn a mask yet but I think I'd have the same problems as you, in terms of putting it on and keeping on. I have trawled the internet and I can't find accessible masks.
As @Geoark has mentioned I would try the masks designed for cycling.
