Research into amputees motivation persistence for competitive sport
I am conducting a qualitative research study into what influences an amputees’ motivational persistence into competitive sport. It is hoped that research in this area will not only increase knowledge and understanding in the realm of amputee sport but also inform future interventions to positively influence the transition amputees go through and increase sports participation.
What would be asked of you:
You would be asked to complete a single interview. This interview will ask questions about your sporting life history, detailing your relationship with sport and physical activity. It will also take the opportunity to ask any about your motivation, where it comes from and what factors affect its persistence.
If you are interested in participating please do not hesitate to get in contact with me and I will provide more information.
Thank you,
Amy Best
