hi everyone, me and my wife have 2 children with cystic fibrosis and we have high rate dla and we're entitled to motability. Ive been banned in the past for totting up points, it does say that I cant get insurance. Is there anyone in the same position or has been in the same position but has managed to obtain insurance?

Were you banned more than five years ago? If its more recent looks like you might not get a car from them, might be worth having a conversation though.2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming đź’ˇ

I was banned for 6 months and it ended 1st April this year. I've been told by the dealer that its only for the likes of drink/drug driving etc but I'm not so sure.

, even if I get my own insurance. -
Sorry to hear this @robbo82, did they offer any suggestions?Scope

No unfortunately, suppose I'll need to buy my own car if I need to get around if the wife has gone out in the car.
