Hi,
I not sure whether you can help me. I have Cerebral palsy and due to my involuntary movements I am unable to keep a normal face mask on, I been told I need a full face mask just what nurses wear in hospitals. I want to go out because I haven’t been out in months, I won’t go out without proper protection for my needs. I understand the government saying people with disabilities are exempt from wearing them, I am going risk my health.
Please help me.
Kind regards,
Martin

You only have to wear them in shops from Friday 24th, there are exemptions but AFAIK that involves getting a letter from your GP, you should be safe enough outside in the open air as long as you stay 2 metres away from other people.2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡

Hi @martie11
Good to meet you. I have quad CP and have found that the washable face masks sit slightly better on my face. There is some information about exemptions and where to get an exemption card from.Scope
